USES

DBI is a highly effective, halogen-free reduction inhibitor for dyeing of polyester fibers and their blends with, e.g. cellulose or viscose rayon. It protects disperse dyes from yield loss during HT exhaust dyeing processes.

The protection is particularly required when dyeing with reduction-sensitive dyes. Most disperse dyes (particularly bluish reds, blues and navies) are sensitive to reduction in fully flooded machines, where less oxygen is present in the dyebath and/or at higher temperatures than the usual 130°C. Characteristics Protects sensitive disperse dyes from reduction caused by some dispersing agents and substances carried into the dyebath, e.g. by cellulosic fibers in blends. Compatible with our recommended TERASIL® W and WW dyes and UNIVADINE® products. No noticeable affinity for PES and no retarding effect. Halogen-free. Noninflammable. Nonexplosive. Non-foaming and low viscosity. Package and Storage The package is 220kgs plastic drums or IBC drum Stored in a cool, dry place. Avoid the light and high temperature. Keep container closed when not in use.
